National War Memorial, OPS facilities reopened

(Ottawa)— The area including the National War Memorial, which was previously cordoned off, is now accessible to the
public. Motorists can expect traffic delays in the area.
However, Parliament Hill continues to be off limits to the public.
The Ottawa Police Service has reopened its facilities to the public and all services have resumed, including those
offered by Front Desks as well as Collision Reporting Centres.
We thank the public for its patience during this time.
Elgin Street remains closed between Wellington and Queen Streets. All other road closures have been lifted.
Residents will continue to see an increased police presence in key areas in the coming days.
We ask that the community continue to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity by calling 613-236-1222 or 9-1-1.
