The Rivers State Government in futherance of its open government policy has has commenced its tour of all the wards in the 23 local government areas of the state.
The tour commenced yesterday July 15, 2014 with wards in the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
"As we enter the last lap of our administration, it is imperative that we go round to see what governnace gaps remain in our quest to guarantee the life of present and future generations.
Governor Amaechi said."We are determined to finish strong and so we must cross the T's and dot the I's" Governor Amaechi said. The tour of the wards is expected to last for two months.
"This is a non partisan, non political tour" says Governor Amaechi and we would want all parties, persons and interests to please join us in this critical interaction as we make our final push to complete our mandate and deliver on our promises to Rivers people.
