The Government requested the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe to send a monitoring mission to
Ukraine, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yatseniuk said on Sunday, March 16, at a meeting of the Cabinet.
According to the Prime Minister, Ukrainian Representative in the OSCE “has been ordered how to vote for a mandate of
international observers from the OSCE in order to spread this mandate into eastern and southern Ukraine, including
Crimea.”
"I hope now at a special meeting of the OSCE this decision is to be made," said Yatseniuk.
He also underlined that now in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea "under the stage direction of the Russian Federation is
a circus spectacle - the so-called referendum" "The play was also performed with the help of 21,000 soldiers, who using
barrels convinced of the feasibility of the so-called referendum."
The Prime Minister reiterated that in fact all members of the UN Security Council in New York had supported the
territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine:" The only country that had voted against the resolution was the
Russian Federation. All other countries supported the territorial integrity ".
"The point is that Russia is left today in complete isolation. The whole world openly condemned Russia for its military
aggression without any reasons against the Ukrainian state," said Yatseniuk.
