Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine meets with German Ambassador to Ukraine

PRESS SERVICE OF MINISTRY FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS
Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Deshchytsia held a meeting with German Ambassador to Ukraine Christof Weil.
The two Sides discussed recent developments in Ukraine, focusing on the internal situation in the Crimean peninsula.
Andrii Deshchytsia made his counterpart familiar with the steps of Ukraine’s leadership made to protect Ukraine’s sovereignty, its territorial integrity and inviolability of its borders.
Ambassador C. Weil hailed well-balanced decisions adopted by the Verkhovna Rada and National Security Council of Ukraine and underlined an importance of maintaining a permanent dialogue with the leadership of the Russian Federation aimed at reduction of tension in the southern and eastern regions of the country.
