Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama today conveyed the nation's best wishes to the Fiji Sevens team scheduled to play in the Hong Kong sevens this weekend and the Adelaide sevens the next weekend
"On behalf of the people of Fiji and the Interim Government, I would like to convey to the Fiji National Sevens team as well as its Coach and Management, our best wishes for a competitive, enjoyable and victorious participation in the Hong Kong sevens this weekend and also Adelaide sevens next weekend.
"I know that you and your new-look team have prepared well for the Hong Kong and Adelaide tournaments.
"I would like to urge all the players to go out on the field, perform to the best of your ability and bring the sevens glory back to Fiji.
"Finally, I would like to let each member of the team, the coach and the management know that as you play the pool games continuing right up to the finals, we at home would not only be cheering all the way but also praying for your success."
The Fiji Sevens team plays Korea at 9.14pm tonight.
