Bombing in London
Secretary Condoleezza Rice
Washington, DC
July 7, 2005
The United States condemns the terrorist attacks in London this morning. I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the families of the victims and to the people of the United Kingdom. Today, the President spoke to Prime Minister Blair and I spoke with Foreign Secretary Jack Straw to extend our sympathies and offer support to the government and people of the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom has no better friend than the United States and we stand with the United Kingdom in the fight against terrorism.
