Annan Condemns Double Suicide Bombing In Israeli Port
United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan today strongly condemned the double suicide bombing on Sunday in the Israeli port of Ashdod, which killed at least 10 people and injured 16 others.
The Secretary-General "urges the Palestinian Authority to bring to justice those who plan, facilitate or carry out these horrific acts of terrorism and to devote all its efforts to put an end to these crimes," Marie Okabe, a spokeswoman for Mr. Annan, http://www.un.org/apps/sg/sgstats.asp?nid=817 said in New York.
Ms. Okabe added that Mr. Annan "sends his deepest condolences to the families of the victims."
