(SBU) Per Ref A, Post met with Ministry of Land,
Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) Japan Civil
Aviation Bureau (JCAB), International Affairs Unit Chief
Hideaki Yokono concerning alleged violations of FAA
regulations by Yasuhiro Waki (Reference 2007GL010182). Fumio
Yasukawa, Director of JCAB's Aviation Security Office,
responded to Post by letter dated June 15 that the JCAB did
not report the incident to the National Police Agency, and
the GOJ will not pursue any legal action related to this
case.
