This is the Southeastern Turkey press summary for May 4, 2004.

CULTURE and TOURISM
Bolge, Hurriyet, Turkiye / Cukurova University Spring Fair is
starting on May 10. During the fair music and art activities
will be organized.
ECONOMIC
Ulkede Gundem / The Baghdad fair will be held in Diyarbakir on
May 25-27. The location was moved from Baghdad to Diyarbakir
for security reasons. Iraq-America Chamber of Commerce head
Read Ommar and Diyarbakir Chamber of Commerce head Kutbettin
Arzu signed the protocol for the fair.
Hurriyet / In Yumurtalik, Sugozu Power Plant consumes
approximately 450 tons of coal per hour. Provincial Environment
Office is watching the amount of the carbon monoxide, sulphur
dioxide, and nitrogen oxide coming out of the power plant.
