ViewSonic Corporation today announced the launch of the VX2255wm monitors featuring a built-in webcam and microphone
available in classic black or stylish glossy white.
The glossy black VX2255wmb and glossy white VX2255wmh displays provide users with a multifunctional monitor designed for
today's digital lifestyles and ideal for video conferencing, instant messaging or talking to friends and family on VOIP,
without the need to have a separate webcam and microphone.
The 16:10 widescreen displays feature a high resolution of 1680 x 1050 for crisp and detailed images, with a rapid
response time of 5ms for digital HD broad cast quality video and Dynamic Structure™ technology for seamless video and
intensive graphics.
Also featuring a high brightness of 300-nit and a contrast ratio of 1000:1, the ViewSonic VX2255wmb/h monitors display
vibrant images, movies and video games with reduced eye strain.
The stylish slim-bezel design of the monitors includes integrated rear stereo speakers to save desk space and provide a
complete audio visual experience.
The monitors feature High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection, to prevent transmission of non-encrypted high definition
content and carry the Windows Vista Premium logo which indicates the monitors are Windows Vista certified, enabling
users to take advantage of the benefits of the new Microsoft platform.
The certification also indicates reliability, stability, security and proper installation of the displays.
The monitors feature an ergonomic base with an 8cm height adjustment and 360 degree swivel and tilt feature for comfort
and convenience.
Both monitors are PC and Mac compatible and feature OptiSync© digital and analogue inputs to expand users' connectivity
and for configuration flexibility.
The ViewSonic VX2255wmb and VX2255wmh LCD monitors will be available from leading retailers in New Zealand in July, RRP
is $699.
