NZ IT company breaks in to Netherlands market
New Zealand-based IT company EMS-Cortex is expanding its international reach with a major launch into the Netherlands market.
The company, which has over seven years’ experience in the telecommunications and service provision industry, has announced that Dutch company Enertel N.V. has selected its Cortex platform to deliver a broad range of managed IT services to its customers. Services include Microsoft Hosted Exchange and Sharepoint, Managed Desktop and other IT services targeted at mid to larger size SMEs.
Enertel N.V. is an independent, data traffic and telecom services provider, operating in the Netherlands, Belgium and part of Germany, and specialising in cost-efficient voice, data and managed IT solutions. Enertel is continuously developing its managed IT services portfolio, including Voice over IP (VoIP) and Virtual PBX solutions.
Selecting Cortex as its provisioning platform has allowed Enertel to quickly deploy new services, and gives it a unique advantage in its market. The platform provides for a highly cost-efficient and scalable provisioning and user self-service service portal, resulting in quick deployment of the latest technologies within a secure environment and at the lowest possible cost.
John Rea, chief operating officer of Enertel, commented “Choosing EMS-Cortex as the provider of our platform has propelled Enertel into the managed IT services industry and has positioned us as a unique service provider in servicing customers with fully integrated managed IT solutions. Customers are seeking optimal integration and convergence of traditional services, such as voice and data communications, and managed IT services such as Managed Desktop and Hosted Exchange. The Enertel solutions provide such fully managed IT services, resulting in lower total cost of ownership and lower IT cost.”
Ivan Wells, business development manager of EMS-Cortex, adds “Enertel is actively expanding their services portfolio, and the Cortex platform is ideally positioned to help them do this through its broad range of supported products and channel-building capabilities.”
The Cortex platform is currently distributed to Singapore, Australia, UK and Continental Europe. It is used in New Zealand via Telecom NZ.
