Entry Deadline Extended For Allied Telesyn NZ Hi Tech Awards
Press release, 16-August-05, Allied Telesyn New Zealand Hi Tech Awards, Christchurch, New Zealand: Further to a number of requests for extensions from companies rushing to get their Award entries in for the Allied Telesyn Hi Tech Awards, the organising committee is pleased to announce that it is extending the courtesy to everyone in the hi tech industry.
The Hi Tech Awards, which will be held in at the Christchurch Convention Centre on 1 October, celebrate outstanding achievement within New Zealand’s Software, Electronics and Biotech sectors. With 10 Award categories to be won the event is highly prized and hotly contested within the industry.
Many quality entries have already been received from all over the country and a number of companies and individuals have also registered to attend the five events that conclude with the Gala Dinner.
Hi Tech Awards Committee acting-Chairperson Martin Morrissey says, “We’re expecting a fantastic weekend of events in Christchurch this year. The Hi Tech Awards is a truly national event where exceptional achievement is recognised and essential networking is conducted. The deadline has been extended to allow those who have requested additional time and others in the industry the opportunity to get their entries in.”
The extended deadline for entries is Wednesday 24 August. Details can be found at www.hitech.org.nz.
About The Allied Telesyn New Zealand Hi Tech Awards
The Allied Telesyn New Zealand Hi Tech Awards, now in their 12th year, are aimed at New Zealand’s successful Hi Tech companies who have married research and development with the ability to successfully market and sell products both within New Zealand and offshore. Rotating each year between Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, the Awards not only celebrate excellence in New Zealand's Electronics, Software and Biotech industries, they also celebrate outstanding individual achievement by new talent and more established players with the Young Achiever and Flying Kiwi awards.
