Sony’s latest addition to the VAIO New Generation notebook PC family, the VGNA19GP, packs wide screen entertainment into a stylish package.This beautiful machine has the distinctive curvaceous VAIO “side line” in a high contrast silver and black casing.
Incorporating a 15.4-inch wide screen (16:10) WXGA (1280 x 800) TFT Clear Bright LCD colour display and ATI Technology MOBILITY™ RADEON™ 9200 supported by 64MB video memory, the A19GP ensures video playback and multi media applications are crisp and vivid.The wide screen provides a cinematic experience when watching DVD videos.Additionally, the VGNA19GP features Dolby Virtual Speaker* and Dolby Virtual Headphone* technology that virtually reproduces 5.1 Surround Sound through the built-in speakers or when being connected to stereo speakers and headphones to further enhance DVD entertainment.
*Dolby Headphone and Dolby Virtual Speaker functions are only available when WinDVD 5 for VAIO is used.
It combines a powerful CPU with advanced multi-media capabilities, enabling users to fully make use of their time on the go.Featuring Intel® Centrino™ Mobile Technology, which comprises a powerful Intel® Pentium® M Processor 725 (1.60A GHz) and Intel® 855PM chipset, coupled with integrated Wireless LAN IEEE802.11b/802.11g, the VGNA19GP offers outstanding mobile computing and extended battery life for true mobile freedom.The mobile processor also contributes to the computer’s extra-slim form.Users can watch and create DVD videos with an integrated DVD±RW drive.
The A19GP has a host of interfaces to offer the ultimate connectivity, including three USB 2.0 ports, a Memory Stick™ slot (compatible with standard Memory Stick and Memory Stick Duo™), a port replicator connector and an i.LINK (IEEE1394) interface for speedy and hassle free transfer of digital content among various compatible devices.
Besides, the A19GP has various unique features such as the Plug and Display function, which automatically selects the maximum resolution of the projector when connected to the notebook PC and enables the screen to be adjusted to the same resolution via the Extended Display Identification Data (EDID), to provide hassle-free professional presentations.With the ErgoBright™ technology, the LCD of the VGNA19GP can also be adjusted automatically to a suitable brightness for viewing text on the screen.
The A19GP comes with a range of exclusive software including the Adobe® Premiere® Standard and upgraded “Click to DVD 2.0”, making it easy to edit and create high quality DVDs with a menu of 5.1 surround sound at the click of a button.Microsoft Windows XP Professional (English version) and Multi-language User Interface (pre-installed Traditional Chinese) are added to further enhance convenience.
