PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Cutting edge screen printing process producing sharper than ever images on fabric
A unique process developed by Terrabyte Screenprint in Albany is producing multicolour fabric screen printing of a quality not used before in the industry.
Terrabyte Screenprint opened early last year in a small factory unit in Airborne Road, Albany. The company has developed and introduced a specialised four-colour process which allows them to screenprint high quality images onto apparel.
Directors Nicky Lowe and Mark Thodey say the success of the high quality multicolour process has led to an influx of orders from a wide range of companies requiring top of the range screen printing. In order to cope with the increasing demand, Terrabyte Screenprint recently moved to significantly larger premises at 20 Constellation Drive, Albany.
"Word has spread about the process to small and medium sized companies as well as to the large corporates. After 12 months of research and development on the process we knew we were onto a winner for our clients and now, just one year after our launch, we have moved to larger premises to cope with the rapidly increasing demand," Mr Thodey says.
The process is founded on leading edge technology, he says, which means that Terrabtye can take on all screen printing jobs, even the ones that other screen printers hate to do.
"We love doing the ones other screen printers find impossible or difficult because we know we've got the technology and expertise to easily produce a top of the range result."
Both Terrabyte directors have worked for more than 20 years in the industry.
The company's account managers are Richard Turner, former All Black and captain of North Harbour's senior rugby team, and Jason Sinclair, who is qualified in the print and packaging industry and has had seven years experience in point of sale and display.
Mr Turner says: "It's leading edge stuff - a quality way of getting companies names and logos out there."
The company also offers a complete in-house service including design/concept, artwork and production.
