Toothless Snakes NZ's Future

Published: Tue 9 Nov 1999 08:54 AM
The McGillicuddy Serious Party today announced that it will end the ludicrously over regulated snake oil market, in order that New Zealand producers can compete on the New Zealand market.
Until now it has been impossible for peddlers to (legally) use raw materials sourced in New Zealand to manufacture their slime. This is the most vulgar form of regulation, and simply amounts to exterior subsidy.
In this modern day and age it is a simple matter to genetically engineer a toothless snake, all show with no bite.
If New Zealand voters really want the snake oil industry to remain, when it surely must be on it's last dying legs, the choice(s) are clear.
With 73 list MP's (to choose from), McGillicuddy Serious will finally put the industry in it's rightful place. Once, and for All.
