Tokomaru Shoplifter Banning Praised

Published: Wed 20 Oct 1999 11:14 AM
"Libertarianz endorses the actions of Tokomaru store owner Peter Wilson in banning an 8 year old boy for stealing a chocolate bar, and deplores 'snivel libertarian' Barry Wilson's simpering comments," says Libertarianz spokesman Peter Cresswell this morning.
"The store owner's actions are entirely correct in the circumstances, protecting his property while demonstrating to the youngster that theft will not be condoned."
"I find it incredible that Barry Wilson is reported as calling the banning 'unfair and distasteful'," says Cresswell. What is truly distasteful is his organisation's liberal hand wringing when it comes to criminal dishonesty."
"He gives libertarians a bad name!"
