All That Wasted Money, But Not on Web Servers
The Taxpayers’ Union is among many in the dark over the new property valuations released this morning on Auckland Council’s website. The website has been inaccessible since early this morning, presumably crashing under the increased traffic. Jordan Williams, Executive Director of the Taxpayers’ Union, says:
“With so many Aucklanders fearful of enormous rate hikes, it is little wonder Auckland Council is struggling to cope. More are realising that Len Brown's promises of restraint and savings have gone out the window.”
"While Auckland Council is wasting plenty of money, it’s clearly not on web servers."
