Marae Investigates Billings
This week on Marae Investigates – Auckland may have the country’s biggest Mäori population but is the Council failing to meet its obligations to them? We launch the Independent Mäori Statutory Board’s Treaty of Waitangi audit of Auckland and reveal its ambitious plan for the future of Mäori in Tämaki Makaurau. We talk to Board Chair David Taipari and ask Mayor Len Brown whether the city will accept the Board’s wish list. Then Hone Harawira went into the gay marriage debate as a conservative but eventually voted for the bill so what’s behind his change of heart. Marae Investigates Sunday 10am TVOne.
