Two year settlement for Police pay round
Police have negotiated a two year pay round settlement with the Police  Association.
Acting Deputy Commissioner Michael Player says the settlement includes a  one-off payment of $1,000 per person at 1 July 2010 and a 1.3 percent wage  increase from 1 July 2011.
Mr Player says the two year settlement, which runs to 30 June 2012, will  provide valuable stability over an important period which includes the Rugby  World Cup.
