Press Release
For Immediate Release. Llewell strikes a nerve in Mt Albert.
Dave Llewell, Republican candidate for Mt Albert, who is challenging Helen Clark in this year’s election, says, “I seem
to have struck a nerve here in Mt Albert.”
As part of his electorate campaign launch, Mr Llewell visited Clark’s electorate office in Sandringham Rd on Saturday
morning and…. no one home. It was a shut shop, and the neighbour’s window had a rock through it, which we assume was
once again intended as a message for the PM are her Labour party.
“Is this what you call representing your electorate” asks Mr Llewell.
In spite of the bad weather the Republicans went vote catching at local shops.
“It is surprising the number of swinging voters there are in Mt Albert, and they had no hesitation in telling us that
their MP had been neglecting her local constituents.”
As Republican Party spokesman for employment Mr Llewell is concerned but not surprised at the news that we lost another
4000 people to Australia in January. What do you expect with such contempt coming from the PM towards here own
electorate.
Real jobs are being exported by Clark’s government, and talented workers are heading overseas. What can you expect when
workers see their Labour Prime Minister using workers tax money to prop up her failing government?
Many voters have walked from Labour and are joining the RONZP, because The Republicans know what to do about this. If
you want to keep up to date with our progress check on my Chairman’s Update on our website at the beginning of each
month says Mr Llewell
“We will have to wait and see, but Clark seems to be well on the way to be being the victim of her own regulated
period,” concludes Mr Llewell.
