Give The Officer A Medal
The police officer involved in the fatal shooting in Christchurch should get a medal says the Sensible Sentencing Trust.
Trust Spokesman Garth McVicar said the cotton wool culture do-gooders who criticized the tasers are the ones who should be being blamed.
“New Zealand is becoming a very violent society; the police must have the means and the tools to protect themselves and the community from violent offenders, the opponents of the tasers should be very happy – they have now got exactly what they asked for.”
“The tasers are gone and offenders are being shot.”
McVicar said the Trust totally supported the police officer and encouraged every sensible law-abiding citizen to stand-up and be counted.
“Support our police or pay the price – those who choose to break the law have a choice – this police officer was simply doing his job.”
“Give the man a medal.”
“Reclaim our streets, reclaim our country and get rid of the cotton-wool culture.”
