AUCKLAND, TUESDAY 31, JULY. One of the world's most recognised technology brands, Fuji Xerox, has recently signed a partnership agreement with the Sir Peter Blake Trust as part of its continued environmental and leadership programme.
The agreement is announced during New Zealand Leadership Week, a week of activities highlighting the strategic relevance and value that great leaders and great leadership provide for New Zealand.
Fuji Xerox selected the Sir Peter Blake Trust because it is an iconic New Zealand organisation focused on the same environmental and leadership goals.
“Fuji Xerox has always been concerned with environmental sustainability, and now we are taking it a step further to partner with the Sir Peter Blake Trust who shares these values,” Neil Whittaker, Managing Director, Fuji Xerox New Zealand.
The Sir Peter Blake Trust aims to inspire an awareness of the marine environment and encourage and celebrate great leadership.
“The Trust wants to carry on Sir Peter's work and keep his spirit and values alive for future generations. Fuji Xerox’s commitment makes a significant impact in enabling the Trust to achieve this,” says Vicki Watson, General Manager, Sir Peter Blake Trust.
“Fuji Xerox is committed to providing innovative solutions that help New Zealand businesses maximise efficiency and drive out cost, but never forgetting that we have an obligation to the wider community and to our environment,” says Whittaker.
The company want to employ the lessons Sir Peter’s leadership has given New Zealand to help the Trust establish a strong community of leadership from a wide cross-section of New Zealand society.
Fuji Xerox is working with the Sir Peter Blake Trust to devise an environmental leaders’ award which will recognise students making a difference.
As well as helping schools to stay at the forefront of technology, Fuji Xerox is providing guest speakers, scholarships and sponsorship of sports teams and events.
“Fuji Xerox is committed to investing in New Zealand’s greatest asset - its youth. We see developing New Zealand’s future leaders of industry as a responsibility for today’s businesses,” says Whittaker.
In addition to the Sir Peter Blake Trust, Fuji Xerox supports a range of other organisations, which demonstrate its commitment of the arts, sport and community initiatives as well as the environment and leadership. These include Auckland Tennis, Emirates Team New Zealand, Westpac Rescue, Project K, Wellington Life Flight Trust and the Royal New Zealand Ballet.
