Destiny Church Honours Maori Queen Te Arikinui Dame Te Atairangikaahu
Bishop Brian Tamaki, senior minister of Destiny Churches New Zealand, has today expressed deep regret at the passing of Dame Te Atairangikaahu.
“I was honoured to share some private moments with Dame Te Atairangikaahu at her 40th Coronation, during which time we prayed together - she was a very God-conscious woman, a wonderful mother and an inspirational leader. We will miss her dearly,” says Bishop Tamaki.
Bishop Tamaki and a delegation of Destiny Church ministers and members will pay their respects at Turangawaewae Marae on Saturday morning.
