Media Note – Kenya Emergency Appeal
Media interest is increasing in the emergency situation developing in Kenya as a result of drought and famine.
Please note that the international aid agency ChildFund New Zealand launched an emergency appeal for Kenya in
mid-February – it was the first aid agency to launch an official appeal in New Zealand (see media release from 16.2.06 ).
