Greensill Bouyed by Week of Tainui Poll Results
Maori Party candidate for Tainui Angeline Greensill is buoyed by a week of positive Maori poll results.
“A Maori TV poll and our own door knocking campaign show we are winning in Tainui,” said Greensill in Hamilton. “And
it’s the Maori polls that count.”
“It’s a two horse-race,” continued Greensill. “We’ve won two of four polls this week. We’re also celebrating the
milestone of 200,000 Maori on the Maori Roll this week.”
With 400,000 Maori Roll votes, Maori are going to make history.
Greensill has expanded on her vision for the Tainui seat. “We offer a chance for Tainui voters to stand with the rest of
the motu. Seven Maori seats in the hands of the Maori Party will show a united Maori voice in the face of attacks on the
Treaty by Labour, National and NZ First.”
“A vote for the Maori Party is a vote for Maori. We are standing for mokopuna. For Maori, there is no timeframe for the
Treaty, no matter what the other Party’s say Ka toitu te Tiriti”.
