Grey Power Supports Older Drivers Review
Grey Power supports the review of the Older Drivers Regime being conducted by the Ministry of Transport, but does not support all the proposals contained in the recently released statement by the Minister for Transport Safety: Hon Harry Duynhoven.
Grey Power confirms it's position that the mandatory testing of the older driver is discrimination against this sector of the population and a breach of human rights, and is unnecessary.
"We will continue to campaign vigorously for such discrimination to be abolished", said the President of Grey Power, Graham Stairmand.
