Mexican and Moroccan envoys present credentials
The new Ambassadors of Mexico and the Kingdom of Morocco will present their credentials to Governor-General Dame Silvia Cartwright at Government House on Friday 7 May at 11.40am.
Mrs Maria Angelica Arce-Mora is Mexico’s New Ambassador to New Zealand. Since joining the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs she has had postings in Geneva, Sweden and New York. Prior to her posting to New Zealand Mrs Arce-Mora was Head of Disarmament and International Security and Security Issues at Mexico’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York.
Career diplomat Mr Aberrahmane Drissi Alami is Morocco’s new Ambassador. Since joining the Moroccan foreign ministry he has had postings in the Belgium, Tunisia and France. Prior to his posting to New Zealand he was Morocco’s Consul in Nanterre, France.
Mrs Arce-Mora is resident in Wellington and Mr Drissi Alami is cross-accredited from Jakarta.
