NORML is proud to announce the release of it's special election issue of NORML News. 50,000 magazines will be
distributed free nation wide. Copies of the magazine will be available from the Hempstore (basement, 60 Queen St) from
midday tomorrow, 11th July. All are welcome.
Our number one concern is keeping drugs out of schools. To this end, NORML has the following message for "tinne house"
proprietors:
Stop selling drugs to children. Treat your business as an R18 licensed establishment. If a customer looks young, make
them produce photo ID, just as they would have to at a legal establishment.
NORML stands against the culture of underaged drug dealing created by prohibition. Currently, Aotearoan youth can
purchase cannabis far easier than alcohol. Some children are employed by tinnie houses to sell drugs from the doorstep,
on the streets, or to deliver them to the playground. This is utterly unacceptable. It must change.
Most independant cannabis dealers already only sell to their adult peers. It is time for the gangs and the tinnie houses
to catch up and understand that the adult cannabis using community does not want it's children on drugs. We are
preparing for the establishment of a legal cannabis market and if you want to be part of that then start acting
responsibly. There are enough adult cannabis customers without picking on our kids.
