Animals First Party Deregistered
The Electoral Commission announced today that at the political party’s request it had cancelled the registration and logo of the Animals First Party.
The party was initially registered in September 1996 and contested parliamentary seats in the last two elections. It nominated a party list of 10 last November and received 0.16 percent of the Party Vote.
The number of registered political parties remaining is now 26.
