NZ First Names Northland candidate Ian Walker as rural spokesperson

New Zealand First Leader Winston Peters announced Northland candidate Ian Walker as rural spokesperson at a rally held on Sunday to launch New Zealand First’s rural policy.
“Mr Walker has the farming background and credentials to give rural issues and rural people the standard of representation they have been denied for over a decade”, said Mr Peters.
Mr Walker is a farmer and Chairman of the Northland Federated Farmers. An honours graduate of Massey University, he has held a number of senior management and marketing positions as well as being involved with farming for the past nineteen years.
“I am delighted to be appointed as rural spokesperson”, said Mr Walker. “New Zealand First’s policies will spearhead a revolution for our rural sector.
