NZ FIRST CALLS FOR COALITION POLICY STATEMENTS
New Zealand First has called on National and ACT, and Labour and the Alliance to release their coalition policies so the voters have plenty of time to study them before the General Election on 27th November.
The Leader, Rt Hon Winston Peters, said tonight that as the four parties have already sorted out their Right and Left coalition positions they must be able to explain their joint plans.
“Are National and ACT going to cut taxes, then slash spending on Health and Education? Are they going to further reduce National Superannuation and sell more State assets?
“Are Labour and the Alliance going to increase taxes, tariffs and commercial rates? Are they going to close down provincial New Zealand as they plan to do on the West Coast?”
“These parties must come out into the open and tell us their plans.”
Mr Peters said that New Zealand First will explain exactly what its plans are to voters and will show them exciting new direction and leadership over the next few weeks.
