SECURITIES COMMISSION APPOINTMENT
The Minister for Enterprise and Commerce, Hon Max Bradford, today announced the appointment of Mr Lloyd Kavanagh as a member of the Securities Commission.
Mr Kavanagh has had extensive experience in the securities market sector.
Currently, he is the Corporate Secretary and Global Manager - Legal and Secretariat - at the New Zealand Dairy Board. Prior to this position, Mr Kavanagh was a partner at the law firm Russell McVeagh Mackenzie Bartlett and Co in Wellington.
He has also had experience working in the capital markets sector in the United Kingdom.
Mr Kavanagh has been appointed for a period of three years.
