ACT Finance spokesman Rodney Hide said it was important for Labour's Michael Cullen to come clean on his views of Jim Anderton's plans to tax New Zealanders stupid.
"Jim Anderton today announced that he favours yet another tax - this time on New Zealanders' wealth. This is in addition to new income taxes, company taxes, a financial transaction tax, a carbon tax, estate duties, and heaven knows what else.
"The Labour party should be up front with voters. Michael Cullen should declare which of these new taxes Jim Anderton is planning he would rule out," said Rodney Hide.
