Peters Writes to All National MPs Over RMA Reforms
Speaking on Newstalk ZB’s Leighton Smith Show, the Rt Hon Winston Peters has confirmed that he has written to every National Party MP asking them to suspend the Resource Legislation Amendment Bill’s passage.
“For the sake of transparency I am attaching the letter I sent this morning to all members of the National Party Caucus,” says New Zealand First Leader and Member of Parliament for Northland, Rt Hon Winston Peters.
“This country is about to go down a racially divisive abyss and the only ones who can do something about it is the National Party Caucus. It is time for them to step up.
“This is why I have restated in writing to them, so there is no ambiguity, New Zealand First’s commitment to back comprehensive Resource Management Act reform so long as it is based on the principle of one law for all,” says Mr Peters.
