“Get Stuffed” Message In Veto To All New Zealand Families
“New Zealand First backs the 6,000 signatories to today's petition and all New Zealand parents in expressing
disappointment in the government’s veto of the Bill to extend paid parental leave,” says Industrial Relations
Spokesperson Clayton Mitchell.
Spokesperson for Women Tracey Martin says the National government is yet again demonstrating its lack of support for new
parents, particularly women.
“Fifty-two percent of New Zealanders have been told to Get Stuffed.”
