Funding boost for Coromandel regional budgeting services.

Coromandel MP Scott Simpson says he’s pleased the region’s excellent budgeting services are getting a big boost in this year’s budget.
Scott Simpson MP says ”Around the Coromandel electorate we have a number of local organisations doing a great job helping people learn how to budget.
People who’ve benefitted from their advice tell me they’re pleased they can now manage their money themselves. This $22 million in extra funding will mean budgeting services can continue their work throughout our communities.”
Mr Simpson said the funding shows the National government’s commitment to deliver better public services to all New Zealanders.
The investment will see a 61 per cent increase in Government funding over the next two years.
