National Party Leader John Key is paying tribute to Sir Angus Tait, the founder of Tait Electronics, who died today.
"Sir Angus Tait was a giant in New Zealand's technology industry.
"He was a forceful and persuasive advocate for New Zealand business and for the public interest in innovation.
"He is a shining example of a new generation of business leaders.
"I wish to offer my condolences to his family, friends, and all the workers at Tait Electronics in Christchurch.
"They should be immensely proud of his achievements and the legacy he has left for New Zealand as a whole."
