What Does National Have Against Our Exporters?
The continued objection by the National party to New Zealand First trying to introduce a members bill to help our exporters, farmers, and home-owners, begs the question as to what National has against those people, according to New Zealand First Economic Development spokesman Doug Woolerton.
"The fact National, the so-called party of business, won't consider supporting our bill suggests they are operating to some other agenda,” said Mr Woolerton.
“The fundamental flaw in the Reserve Bank Act is its myopic focus on inflation, to the exclusion of all other economic indicators and it is this which needs correcting.
“New Zealand First is the only party in the parliament that is prepared to do something practical to help those who contribute so much to our economy. It is high time National shed their ideological blinkers, rather than objecting to every good attempt to fix it”, said Mr Woolerton.
