Maori Party Consultation Hui on Post-election options
The Maori Party made a commitment before the General Election, that whatever governing arrangements were discussed with the Party, post-election, the members would be fully consulted on before any decisions confirmed.
The four Members of Parliament for the Maori Party will be embarking on an intense series of hui, commencing next Wednesday 5 October. Today the basic outline of that schedule is released. Further details of venue locations will be released nearer the time.
Wednesday 5 October
• New Plymouth, 6-8pm
• Invercargill, 7pm
• Gisborne, 7pm
• Whangarei, 6pm
Thursday 6 October
• Kaitaia, 10.30am
• Dunedin
• Taumarunui; 6.30pm
• Kaikohe, 2.30pm
• Christchurch, 7pm
• Hastings, 6.30pm
• West Auckland 7pm
Friday 7 October
• Whanganui 10am
• Hamilton 1.30pm
• Otaki, 6.30pm
• Nelson
Saturday 8 October
• Porirua 10am
• South Auckland, 10am
• Otorohanga/Te Kuiti 9am
• Wellington 7pm
The hui for the Waiariki electorate rohe will be held in the weekend of 8/9 October.
