Brash pays tribute to Lange
National Party Leader Don Brash this morning paid tribute to former Prime Minister David Lange, describing him as “a remarkable man who played a vital role in transforming New Zealand into an internationally competitive, vibrant economy.”
“Mr Lange was a politician like few others in modern times. His extraordinary wit and remarkable oratorical skill were unparalleled and ensured a warmth and respect for him across the political spectrum.
“On behalf of the National Party, I extend my heartfelt sympathies to Mr Lange’s wife Margaret Pope, his children and extended family.”
