Agent Orange vets need action not another report
National Party Clevedon MP Judith Collins says the veterans suffering from the side effects of Agent Orange need decisive Government action, not another report.
“I obviously welcome the Prime Minister’s election-year attempt to address this matter, but I can’t help but be angry about the delay caused by yet another report.
“Labour initially refused to accept there was any new evidence in the Agent Orange debate. Then later when they had been proved wrong, George Hawkins insulted vets with a half-baked acknowledgement of their concerns.
“These veterans deserve justice. The sooner they get it the better,” says Ms Collins.
