Winston Peters' personal attack on Don Brash today shows why there won't be a change of government without ACT after the
election, says ACT Leader Rodney Hide.
"The National Party won't be able to govern alone under MMP. And it's becoming more clearer by the day that Winston will
not work with Dr Brash as Prime Minister," Mr Hide said.
"For there to be a change of government, National needs a solid, dependable and supportive party that subscribes to
centre-right policies and backs Don Brash as the next Prime Minister.
"Winston's constant attacks on Dr Brash's leadership do little to reassure New Zealanders of any commitment from New
Zealand First to a change in government.
"A vote for Winston Peters is a vote for Helen Clark and three more years of Labour. If that's the case, Kiwis can kiss
goodbye to tax cuts.
"New Zealanders wanting to get rid of Helen Clark and ensure tax cuts are a priority must give their Party Vote to ACT
this election," Mr Hide said.
