Media event – launch of Oceans Survey 20/20
The government will launch Ocean Survey 20/20 on Wednesday 16 March 2005.
Media are invited to attend a one hour cruise of Wellington harbour on NIWA's survey vessel, RV Tangaroa, departing
Queen's Wharf, Wellington at 4:30 pm on Wednesday 16 March. An undersea mapping demonstration will be given during the
cruise.
Ocean Survey 20/20 will be launched at 6:00 pm on Wednesday 16 March by Minister for Research, Science and Technology,
Steve Maharey, and Minister for Land Information, Pete Hodgson, on board HMNZS Resolution at Queens Wharf Wellington.
