Shirley calls for full inquiry into wananga
ACT MP Ken Shirley has today written to the Auditor-General calling for a full inquiry into the operation and activities of Te Wananga O Aotearoa.
Mr Shirley said the Auditor-General has full jurisdiction given the wananga is a public entity under the Education Act.
"It will be necessary for the Auditor-General to examine both the wananga itself and the many shelf companies that the directors and executive staff may be associated with," he said
