Hide welcomes Tamihere's call for tax cuts

Rodney Hide - Press Releases - Taxation
ACT Leader Rodney Hide tonight welcomed John Tamihere's call for tax cuts.
"I just wish the Labour Government would actually deliver tax cuts instead of just talking about them.
"Such a move would be a flip-flop from Labour which has so far only put up taxes, but it's a flip-flop hard-working Kiwis could well do with.
"It's clear that ACT is winning the argument on tax cuts. National has signed up, so too has New Zealand First and even Jim Anderton has called for them. Now we have a senior Labour MP calling for tax cuts.
"It's all good news. It will be even better news when taxes actually get cut but I suspect ACT will have to be in government for that to happen," said Mr Hide.
