Fairbrother Samuels Ririnui Okeroa Conference 1pm
A media conference will be held today at 1.20pm by Russell Fairbrother.
He will be joined by Dover Samuels, Mita Ririnui and Mahara Okeroa, who were the other Labour members of the select committee considering the government’s foreshore and seabed legislation.
The media conference will cover the report back to Parliament today of the Fisheries and Other Sea-Related Legislation Committee.
The venue is Room G.033 Parliament Buildings (the former Maori Affairs Select Committee room)
The select committee’s report will be available at Room G.033 from 1pm after tabling in the House.
A detailed report from the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, which assisted the select committee, will be available after 1pm
