Media Advisory Greens to launch online video on Restorative Justice
The Greens are broadening the 'law and order' debate with the online release of their video Restorative Justice Works.
The ten-minute video features Nandor Tanczos, the Green Party's Justice Spokesperson, interviewing Rosalie Steward, a professional justice facilitator and the co-ordinator of Hauraki's Restorative Justice Services, part of a nationwide network of restorative justice groups. Rosalie explains how restorative justice places victims at the centre of efforts to repair the damage done by offenders.
Restorative Justice Works will be available in various formats for viewing online from 2pm this Sunday, 4 July, at www.greens.org.nz/campaigns/justice.
A transcript of the video is available to the media now at www.greens.org.nz/searchdocs/other7635.html.
