ACT's Hard-Working Staff
ACT New Zealand Acting Leader Ken Shirley today expressed extreme disappointment that the New Zealand Herald chose to print the spoof report on staff prepared by a fellow staffer and included as a joke in strategy papers leaked to the media.
"The ACT Party is very fortunate to have a team of extremely hard-working and loyal staff members, who are renowned throughout Parliament for their competence, efficiency and loyalty.
"Staff relations in the ACT office are excellent, and it would be a travesty for anybody to take the spoof printed by the Herald seriously.
"When first circulated, the spoof was received by staff with rollicking laughter as it is so obviously the antithesis of the truth" Mr Shirley said.
