United Future leader, Peter Dunne, today corrected several news reports concerning United Future’s position on the Supreme Court Bill.
“I note various reports claim the party has ‘belatedly’ opposed the Bill; ‘changed its mind’ on the Bill and ‘withdrawn its support’ for the Bill,” he said.
“For the record – and the authors of those incorrect reports could have discovered this had they bothered doing some basic research – United Future has voted against the Bill on every occasion it has been before the House,” Mr Dunne said.
