Justice at last! Courts do the right thing!
“The decision by the Court of Appeal to extend the non parole period from 17 years to 20 years, for Mark Lundy, double killer of his wife and daughter, is correct”, said New Zealand First Leader and MP for Tauranga Rt Hon Winston
“The Court of Appeal is to be applauded for having given expression to the wish of society to take a more determined stand against those who commit such atrocious crimes”, said Mr Peters.
“At last it can be demonstrated to those who choose to offend in this manner, that the Courts are prepared to ‘deal to’ them in a more comprehensive manner this has often been the case in the past”, concluded Mr Peters.
